Deer Hollow Farm LLC is a full service mare care facility. We offer foaling, breeding and boarding services to our clients. We accommodate foaling mares with large, roomy stalls and utilize the Foalert system to help ensure a safe, attended delivery. Daily turnout in private paddocks is available for the mare and foal before introducing them to a pasture environment. Professional foal pictures are available courtesy of Rusty Spur Graphics and Jackie Wolfe to the mare owner. Mares are carefully watched and followed throughout their breeding cycle in order to best calculate ovulation and semen shipment. We will coordinate with the farm standing your selected stallion to have the semen shipped in a timely manner. Mares may stay at the farm for foaling and or breeding, and year round mare care is available.
Lay ups are always welcome at Deer Hollow Farm. We provide expert care for your horse while at our facility, and will update you and your veterinarian with progress reports and pictures via email. A certified equine massage therapist can come to the farm to help either the lay up horse or broodmare and foal. When a traumatic injury occurs to your horse, whether a wound, eye injury, lameness, abscess or other, Deer Hollow Farm will give your horse the best chance for a full recovery.
